Do One Thing is a positivity group that strives to increase happiness in our community and encourage others to improve the world around them.
We do so by hosting bi-weekly meetings, showing appreciation for faculty and staff, reaching out to the St. Louis community, and spreading positivity through events on campus. Whether we are handing out goody bags to stressed students or leaving positive messages for people to find, everything we do revolves around encouraging you to do something positive each day for both yourself and those around you.
Previous events on campus include: bubbles outside the DUC, free hugs and high-fives, hot chocolate in the winter, and reverse trick-or-treating around Halloween. Anyone who has participated in these events can tell you how much these little surprises catch students off-guard and really make their day! We also reach out to the greater St. Louis community by volunteering our time and resources, such as making tie blankets and donating them to Children’s Hospital.
Want to see your ideas for spreading positivity come to life on our campus? Do you love watching the positive impact that your small actions can make on other people? Join our tight-knit group and help us make the world a better place! Our meeting time for the Fall 2017 semester is still TBD, so catch us at the Fall Activities Fair from 4:30 to 6:00 pm on September 1st to sign up for our newsletters. You can also email us at email@example.com to be added to our mailing list. This way you’ll always be up-to-date with our meeting times and events. Plus you’ll receive a dose of happiness and good news in your inbox with every newsletter!
